The Sleever rewarded to the Pentawards with 4 Pentawards and a nominated
Four design agencies using the sleeve technique have received prizes at this year's Pentawards.
BETC Design received a Gold Award for the new design of the famous Badoit bottle, where the use of this technology helped to both simplify and reinforce its brand identity.
The Brand Union Paris, Coley Porter Bell and Diadeis each received a Bronze Award for their creativity.
The jury rewarded the first for the way they enriched the legend of Clan Campbell by using a phosphorescent sleeve which, when subjected to UV light, greatly increases the fantasy and mystery surrounding the brand name.
The second was awarded to the British agency Coley Porter Bell for the limited edition bottle of Beefeater Gin based around the atmosphere of life in London. Sleever International had to show all its skills for this bottle. The inside is decorated with a transfer of a typical young and trendy English girl, with the outside all in red, like a Telephone Box in London.
The third Bronze Award was given to the Diadeis agency for their « Miss O ! » collectible: a presentation box containing the new version of Orangina light for trendy, pert young women; illustrated by Soledad and available from Colette Paris.
Amongst those nominated for the 2012 Pentawards was Grant's Whisky, with a presentation made by Sleever International which deserves being mentioned. In the form of an exceptional evening dress for both the box and bottle of the limited edition, its design is theatrical and radiant in three warm colours: red, yellow and orange. The box has a black sleeve which lets the brilliance of the colours show through. Sleevercap® provides a clever solution with micro-perforations over the cap, so that it can be taken off to serve a drink without taking the bottle from its radiant presentation box. This is example of how a well known brand of whisky can embrace ultra-modernity through an alliance with new and sophisticated technology.
